A bit about Harlequin...

Funny how everything just clicks sometimes, isn't it? I'd been beating my head against a wall trying to find a shop that sold the country look I wanted for my home then, just like that, these beautiful old premises became available.

The result? Harlequin ! (after a lot of frantic work ...) It's the sort of shop I've always sought out - a cave of delights for the home. Somewhere you can find things before others do. Somewhere which makes you say "That's given me a brilliant idea for that room". Affordable quality and just a bit quirky, too!

Andrew (husband and village GP) and I now have the perfect excuse for travelling Europe to track down those pieces that give a home that timeless country look, keeping Harlequin fresh and up with all the trends.

Judging by our customers' glowing remarks, it's not just me that likes it. Come and see for yourself; there's even a seat outside where you can leave your husband...
